After receiving valuable feedback from one of our clients, we’ve recently released some new features for Dropbox Sign for Procore. The new updates are focused entirely on making the e-signature process more efficient and user-friendly. These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to enhancing user experience and optimizing workflows for our clients.


  1. Automatic Status Updates


With the new update, Dropbox Sign for Procore can now automatically update the status and executed flag of Prime Contract Change Orders (PCCOs) and Commitment Change Orders (CCOs) once the document has been fully executed. This automation streamlines the workflow significantly, as it was a feature that was previously only available to Commitments and Prime Contracts. By expanding this functionality, we are ensuring that change orders receive the same level of attention and efficiency, allowing teams to stay informed about the status of their documents without manual intervention.


  1. Automatic Signed Date Entry


Additionally, we’ve introduced an entirely new configuration that automatically populates the signed date of a contract or change order once it's fully executed. This feature eliminates the need for users to open each document individually and manually enter the date, which not only saves time but also improves accuracy. By ensuring that project records are consistently current, teams can maintain better oversight of timelines and contractual obligations, which is crucial in the fast-paced construction environment.
